Biodiesel

Biodiesel, a diesel fuel variant, is derived from organic sources like soybeans, cooking oil, and animal fats. Available as pure biodiesel (B100 or “neat”), it can also be blended with petroleum diesel at any ratio for enhanced cost efficiency and improved cold weather performance, with B20 being a common blend consisting of 20% biodiesel and 80% petroleum diesel.

Notably, biodiesel seamlessly integrates into any diesel vehicle without requiring modifications. Its usage is widespread in parts of Europe and is steadily gaining traction in the United States. Applications span a diverse array of vehicles and equipment, including buses, delivery trucks, waste disposal and recycling trucks, construction and agricultural machinery, heavy-duty freight haulers, boats, and passenger vehicles.
